The hike to Eagle Falls is accessible and rewarding, making it suitable for all levels of adventurers. The lower falls can be reached with a short, easy hike, perfect for families with children or those looking for a leisurely walk. For those seeking more of a challenge, the trail continues to the upper falls and offers breathtaking vistas of Emerald Bay and Lake Tahoe. This hike is renowned for its panoramic views and the opportunity to witness the beauty of the falls from different perspectives, making it a favorite among photographers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

Eagle Falls is a great smaller waterfall on the East shore of Lake Tahoe near Emerald Bay. The hike to the waterfall from the parking area is only a quarter mile so easy to access with just some incline to reach. There is a bridge which crosses the top of the falls to the other side of the stream. A great smaller and easily accessible waterfall to check out.

It’s a kid friendly easy hike loop. Absolutely gorgeous views of the falls, you can dip as well if you want to. The water is so clean and no insects as well. Definitely recommend as a part of Tahoe itinerary.

Another one of those “must see” creations of Mother Nature… The powerful water falls and breathtaking views are amazing! The falls are just off the road and easily accessible. Do be careful though as it’s risky if you don’t take caution while walking around the falls and wet rocks.
